Installing Dimension LE in Microsoft (R) Windows Vista (TM)
* In order to perform the following steps, you must log on to Windows as a user who has administrative privileges.
- 1. Close all currently running software (applications).
- Place the installation CD-ROM in your computer's CD-ROM drive.
* If the auto-play dialog box appears, choose [Cancel]. - From the Windows Start menu, choose "Computer."
- The screen will show the drives detected by your computer. Choose the CD-ROM drive -> CAKEWALK folder -> DIM_LE folder, and then double-click [SETUP].
- The screen will indicate "An unidentified program wants access to your computer"; click [Allow].
- The installer will start up. Follow the on-screen directions to proceed with the installation.
This completes the installation.
[Activation]
When installation is finished, you'll need to activate Dimension LE.
* Before you begin the activation process, make sure that your computer is connected to the Internet.
- Start up SONAR LE or Project5 LE, and plug-in Dimension LE.
- Dimension LE will start up, and the online activation screen will appear. Select "Take me to www.cakewalk.com to resister now." and click [OK].
* If you've already obtained a serial number, proceed to step 5. - Your Web browser will start up, and the Cakewalk online activation form will appear. Proceed with activation as directed by the form. The serial number for your software will be sent to you by e-mail.
- Note the serial number that was sent to you by e-mail.
- In the Dimension LE online activation screen, select "I registered, and was emailed the following Serial Number:" Then enter the serial number and click [OK].
This completes activation of Dimension LE.
[Limitations]
Moving a knob with the mouse does not change the screen. (The sound will change.)

Installing EDIROL PCR Editor Microsoft (R) Windows Vista (TM)
PCR Editor is software that lets you use your computer to create control maps for the PCR series (PCR-1/M1/30/A30/M30/50/M50/80/M80).

The PCR Editor programs themselves are provided on the CD-ROM included with your product.
[Installation]
Install the software as follows.
* Before you carry out the following steps, you must log on to Windows as a user whose account type is Administrator.
- Close all currently running software (applications).
- In the [EDITOR] folder of the PCR CD-ROM, right-click "PcrEditor (PcrEditor.exe)". From the menu that appears, choose [Properties].
- Click the [Compatibility] tab, the window of compatibility opens.
- Check the [Run this program in compatibility mode for:] in the colum of [Compatibility mode]
- In the "Compatibility mode" list, select "Windows XP (Service Pack 2)."
- Click [OK], close the property.
- Double-click "PcrEditor (PcrEditor.exe)".
- "An unidentified program wants access to your computer" will appear click [allow].
- The installer will start up. When the "PCR Editor Setup" screen appears, click [Next].
- A screen will indicate "Please read the following license agreement carefully." Read the license agreement, and if you accept the terms, click [Yes]. If you click [No], the installation will be terminated.
- The "Choose Destination Location" screen will appear. If you accept the default location, click [Next].
If you want to change the installation destination, click [Browse] and specify the desired folder. - In the "Confirmation of installation" screen, verify that the settings shown are correct, and click [Next]. If you decide to specify a different installation location, click [Back].
- When the files have been copied, the "InstallShield Wizard Complete" screen will appear. Click [Finish].
This completes installation of PCR Editor.
[Usage]
In Windows, choose [start].[All Programs].[PCR Editor].

Refer to the online help for an explanation of PCR Editor's functions.
[Uninstallation]
* In order to uninstall software, you must log on to Windows as a user who has administrative privileges.
- Click the Windows Start button, then click Control Panel.
- In "Programs," click "Uninstall a program."
- In the "Uninstall or change a program" list, click "PCR Editor."
- Click [Uninstall].
- When the "Windows needs your permission to continue" screen appears, click [Continue].
- Follow the on-screen directions to uninstall the software.
Installing Project5 LE in Microsoft (R) Windows Vista (TM)
* In order to perform the following steps, you must log on to Windows as a user who has administrative privileges.
- Close all currently running software (applications).
- Place the installation CD-ROM in your computer's CD-ROM drive.
* If the auto-play dialog box appears, choose [Cancel]. - From the Windows Start menu, choose "Computer."
- The screen will show the drives detected by your computer. Choose the CD-ROM drive -> CAKEWALK folder -> P5_LE folder, and then double-click [SETUP].
- The screen will indicate "An unidentified program wants access to your computer"; click [Allow].

- When the installer has finished, right-click the Project5_LE icon that was created on your desktop.
- In the menu that appears, choose [Properties].
- Choose the "Compatibility" tab, and in "Privilege Level," select "Run this Program as an administrator" and click [OK].
This completes the installation.
[Activation]

* Before you begin the activation process, make sure that your computer is connected to the Internet.
- Double-click the Project5 LE icon on your desktop; Project5 LE will start up.
- The screen will indicate "An unidentified program wants access to your computer"; click [Allow].

- Project5 LE will start up, and the online activation screen will appear. Select"I registered, and was emailed the following Serial Number:", then enter the serial number and click [OK].
This completes activation of Project5 LE.
[Cakewalk VST Adapter]
If your VST plug-ins are not registered correctly, follow the steps below to execute VST Adapter.
- From the Windows Start menu, choose "All Programs"-"Cakewalk"-"Cakewalk VST Adapter 4," and then right-click "Cakewalk VST Adapter 4."
- From the menu that appears, choose "Run as administrator."
- The screen will indicate "An unidentified program wants access to your computer"; click [Allow].
- Cakewalk VST Adapter will start up. Follow the on-screen instructions to find and register your VST plug-ins.

Installing SD-20 Editor Microsoft (R) Windows Vista (TM)
The SD-20 Editor allows for extensive and convenient control of the SD-20 module from a computer.
