The shell contour is similar to that of LP Classic Model Congas, but with a slightly wider bottom. This wider bottom helps to keep the drum stable, 

even during the most aggressive play, and adds to the drum's low and mid range tones. They are constructed of specially selected, kiln dried, environmentally friendly Siam Oak,
